Power distribution companies should join initiative of saving storks’ nests: environmentalist
08/03/2010

The power distribution companies in Bulgaria should follow the example of the state-run National Railway Infrastructure Company (NRIC) and join the initiative of saving storks’ nests, Dimitar Plachiyski, a regional coordinator of the Bulgarian Society for Protection of Birds, says in an interview with FOCUS News Agency.

He notes NRIC covers all costs for working out and installing the platforms on which the nests will be laid this year so that they are not in touch with the railway grid.
